Flat Allotment Lottery Conducted by MMR Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Thane

The lottery for the allotment of flats to eligible beneficiaries of the slum rehabilitation scheme in the Dhobighat area of ​​Thane (East) was conducted today in an enthusiastic atmosphere by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Thane. The lottery process was carried out under the special guidance of the Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Saurabh Rao (IAS).

This lottery was organized for 310 eligible residential beneficiaries of the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme located at Samanvay Cooperative Housing Society Ltd. and Mitradham Cooperative Housing Society Ltd. (Plot No. 20, City Survey No. 1025 A (Part), Dhobighat, Kopri Colony, Thane East). The lottery process took place at the Arya Hindi Pracharini Sabha (Mangala Hindi High School) in Thane East. Eligible slum dwellers participated in the event by attending with the necessary documents.

The lottery process was conducted in a transparent manner, in accordance with the guidelines of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Slum Rehabilitation Authority. This has significantly accelerated the process of allocating rehabilitation tenements to eligible beneficiaries.

Minal Sankhe (Chairperson of the Naupada-Kopri Ward Committee), Assistant Registrar Rohidas Bangar, Cooperative Officer Dipali Bhale, office-bearers from the Samanvay and Mitradham Cooperative Housing Societies, and a large number of beneficiaries were present on this occasion. The atmosphere among the beneficiaries was joyful as the lottery process was conducted smoothly and transparently. This event marked a significant milestone in the process of handing over rehabilitation tenements to eligible beneficiaries by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Thane.
