“Maharashtra Day” Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Thane

Thane: The creation of a united Maharashtra is the culmination of a struggle built upon the sacrifices, hard work, and movements of countless individuals. Therefore, preserving Maharashtra’s glorious history and rich traditions is the responsibility of every employee, asserted Sandeep Malvi, Chief Executive Officer of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Thane.

While Maharashtra Day—along with Labour Day—was being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the state on May 1st, the Authority, too, celebrated Maharashtra Day with great fervor. From the very morning, a patriotic atmosphere permeated the Authority’s premises.

Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Malvi stated that while celebrating Maharashtra Day and Labour Day, we must remember the contribution of every individual involved in the struggle for the creation of Maharashtra. Drawing inspiration from that legacy, everyone must work responsibly and honestly towards the development of the Maharashtra of tomorrow.

On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer Sandeep Malvi, along with Secretary Kalpana Jagtap, addressed and guided the attendees. A large number of officers and employees of the Authority were present at the event.
